Kids’ Book Bags & Maker Kits

Perfect for Busy Parents & Bored Kids!

Enjoy our convenient options for keeping your kids reading & creating this summer!

Request a book bag (read on for checkout requirements) or maker kit by filling out this form: https://forms.gle/ajLUeibugZ6qhhkw8.

You must also be a SEKnFind library card holder with a current, unrestricted account to check out books. Each bag contains 10 books on the given topic, chosen by Miss Val & packed by our clerks. The bag may also contain stickers and bookmarks. The bag and goodies are for you to keep, while the books will need to be returned by their due date or renewed. An after-hours book drop is located outside the north entrance for your convenience.

Kit #1: Paper Weaving (Easy/Preschool)

Kit #2: Yarn Bowls (Intermediate/Elementary)

Kit #3: Paper Cup Towers (Easy STEM)

Kit #4: Straw Structures (Intermediate STEM)

Kit #5: Pipe Cleaner Challenge (Intermediate STEM)

Kit #6: Garden in a Cup (Easy/Preschool)

Kit #7: Recyclables Challenge (Intermediate STEM)

You may order 1 kit PER CHILD at a time. Once you have finished with the kit, order the same one again or a different one. Available while supplies last. Caution: Some kit items are not safe for young children. Parental supervision is strongly advised for children ages 3 and under. 4.
