Teen Advisory Group (TAG) meets weekly on Wednesdays at 4:15 in the event room. Come join us for an opportunity to help shape this year’s teen summer reading program, and to plan other teen-friendly fun, including parties, displays, and special programs just for teens. Join us monthly for Game & Snack night, which replaces the teen program for one night a month, and includes two hours of tabletop gaming, snacks, and beverages.
Join us June – July of 2017 for an exciting summer reading program for all ages with the theme “Build a Better World.” Also, if you are a teen seeking summer volunteer work and would like to earn a recommendation for a future résumé, you may contact email@example.com with information about yourself and what you hope to accomplish. Last year, many teen athletes appeared as guest speakers at the summer reading program and received for their hour’s work a personalized letter of recommendation. We can use volunteers for this year’s program as well, both for participating in the weekly hour of programming, and for preparation of crafts/snacks/activities. Please email the address above, message us through our Facebook page, call 620-215-6293, or visit Miss Val in person at Fort Scott Public Library for more information.
