Welcome to our 2017 Summer Reading, Build a Better World page for all kids and teens, ages 0-18. The kick-off party is fast approaching, and early registration is now open. Any registrations turned in before May 30 will receive a prize for each child or teen. Forms are available at the library circulation desks and have been sent home through all Bourbon County schools. Click the Google calendar below to see all events and to add the calendar to your own.
If you are able to volunteer or donate, please email Miss Val at email@example.com or call 620-223-2882. We still need more donors for weekly snacks, and more volunteers to help with regular program weeks. All volunteers will receive a letter for their resume or college application upon request.

Last year, we were thankful to have many individual donations of food and craft supplies, but had a more difficult time finding volunteers who could physically help with our groups, crafts, crowd control, registration, etc. If you or someone you know would be willing and able to help with our kick-off blocks party, fairy garden party, robot party, regular weekly programming, or wrap-up party, or even help with the preparation of crafts, please email the address above with your full contact info and specific details about what you’d be interested in doing. Our program is more successful when we work together!
