A 15-18 hours per week, permanent, part-time position. Bourbon County residency is required. EOE.

Pay: $7.50/hour. After 6 months successful employment, pay will increase to $7.75/hour
Initial scheduling of weekly hours will be mutually agreed upon by the employee and the Library Director. Once a schedule is established, it will be considered the official schedule, and changes shall be made only with the approval of the Library Director.
Paid holidays: 4 hours paid leave for New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at employee’s regular rate of pay, plus payment for any work done on these days at employee’s regular rate of pay.
Indoor: clean library floors, windows, bathrooms, and public areas, including tables, chairs, and shelves, as needed. Change filters in heating/cooling system as necessary
Outdoor: water plants, clear debris from sidewalks, pick up trash in yard, shovel snow and apply ice treatment to sidewalks, empty book return regularly. Employee is expected to empty the book return during periods when the library is closed.
All areas should be spot-checked regularly and appropriate cleaning done as necessary.
Cleaning does not include cleaning computers or staff desks.
Use library credit accounts to purchase cleaning and other supplies as necessary. Misuse of library accounts will result in immediate termination of employment.
Other assignments may be made within the context of custodial and maintenance duties.
